The opening day began with the unveiling of the WTM Global Travel Report, curated by WTM and supported by renowned researchers from Oxford Economics. This draws on extensive data from over 185 countries to provide valuable insights into consumer behavior and trends likely to shape the industry.

Fábio Motanskinny, Regional Technology Coordinator at Gotaze Reservas, said: “We believe in technology as a means of facilitating tourism services, offering new opportunities for the sector’s dynamism, both for customers (tourists) and for companies (operators). With this absence from WTM London, Angola loses several points”. Visitors from all over the world, companies and investors visited the World Travel Market London 2024 and showed themselves to be open to new opportunities, and this would indeed be a great opportunity for Angolan tourism.

Gotaze Reservas is proud to be such an influential force as an aggregator and technological facilitator for operators in the tourism sector. “This year we didn’t have the opportunity to participate,” said Ana Marta, Regional Operations Coordinator at Gotaze Reservas. We hope that the Ministry of Tourism has been a lesson learned and that it can truly change the tourism business environment for the better.

WTM London works together with global thought leaders and world-class researchers to offer a strong and diverse conference program.
